You know the windows toolbar at the bottom of your screen with the urls of websites and on the far right your icons well some how I managed to get mine on the side of the screen...

Can anyone please tell me how I get it to the bottom again

Click and drag it to the bottom. Just make sure to click on an empty space and you can then drag it to the top, bottom, right, and left.

Right-click an empty spot of the taskbar and "Lock the taskbar", so you don't accidently move it again.
